A Little Lost Dog

Summary: There's a new face in Paradise, but she has even less of an idea about what's going on than most.
The afternoon breeze was nice and everything, but Cassidy really couldn't enjoy it as she sat under a tree near the fountain. This place was unknown to her, and she had no idea how she'd come to be here. She certainly would have remembered if she had arrived on her own, but she woken up in the park with a strange device near her tail.
People walked around as though nothing was out of the ordinary, and maybe for them it wasn't, but Cassidy was still very lost, especially since no one seemed to be able to understand when she asked where she was...even though she understood them perfectly. It was unsettling and she finally gave up and simply sat with her knees drawn up to her chest.
