This is one of the reasons why I didn't participate in gossiping away about them. I detest this sort of sadistic attitude of rampaging against stars if they do/say something "dislikable". Plus, I know for sure there are a lot of people out there who are satisfied they split, even just for the petty pleasure of being able to say "they are just like the others". Frankly, whoever posted such a pic, should really investigate on the motives that keep her alive. Trolling is fun, laughing at others' misfortunes is pathetic.
Ah, you misinterpret the meme :) It's a Tumblr thing in the last few weeks that has posts captioned "Perfect people don't exis-" and then a picture of the person the poster thinks is, indeed, perfect. It was a compliment, and the juxtaposition of it on my Tumblr dashboard as late as yesterday and then this news seemed to me a perfect bittersweetness.
Okay, re-reading your entry I guess I'm more in the need to be held :') I admire your reasoning! To me it really came out of the blue. (Have been too busy with real life lately.)
Well, it says Mari left point-blank in April. Apparently, as things are evolving, to join Blooming Agency (the same as Mizu and, if I'm not mistaken, Touko). Much friction has gone on since she left, as basically WFC lost its manager without notice with the whole organizational machine to get started to support the "Dracula" run. Also, apparently, this was also the reason They fought, but this fight I assume happened according to "rumours" was all about business. If Mari's decision was motivated by previous fights or disagreements of any kind with Takako, it's not for me to know. If I have to keep it coolly rational, I'd say leaving point-blank your job is irresponsible. But again, they're both grown up women, so they know what happened and why things couldn't be done in a different way. And even if we knew the whys and becauses, this would change the status quo: WFC is currently deprived of a proper manager and so is Wao Ent. Thus the apology about inconveniences and delays.
As you can see, I had absolute no clue about this. So I'm going to ask the stupid questions:
If Mari has dropped out of the enterprise in the middle of the Dracula run - did it get canceled midway?? "They fought?" As in publicly?? (Though you mention rumors? I'm a bit confused) I suppose it wasn't an amicable split (business wise) then. Well, if she really left point-blank there is not much left to guessing..
I'm feeling kind of numb right now. Reading the other comments I can see that the issue is nowhere near solved and it's best to stay calm and keep supporting them both.. but I can't help feeling broken hearted about this, no matter how it will turn out. I genuinely have no clue about their personal relationship at all (obviously, since it's private and personal), but I don't think there is any doubt that some hurt was caused and a loyal long-going friendship is/was tested.
*sigh* Yup, I read rumors about this too. WaoHana are such magic together, thi is hard to see, but like you, I wish them happiness above all else. I suppose now it's just seeing what's next.
Exactly. Mari is starting her "solo" career and Takako is going on with hers. Looks like they found some sort of balance - also, according to gossip - about their "personal" relationship. It's also quite endearing Takako hasn't "replaced" her yet. In any way. I guess this whole situation is far from being totally worked-out.
God I hope so. It's selfish of me, but they're the only really strong couple I've believed in in a long time...and I totally put their happiness first, but still, I hope...
One one hand it is sad to see them go, but on the other and based on what you say at least it seems their friendship will carry on and that is the most important thing here.
A part of me is happy they decided to have separate careers, even if it happened in a rather traumatic way. After all, mixing heart and business is quite dangerous and they had established such a symbiotic relationship it was just natural at some point one of the two would have started to feel "taken for granted" and in need of new experiences. Also, I'm convinced if there hadn't been anyone interfering, they would have worked out this decision about being less "depending" on each other without all this drama.

OH MY GOD.
*holds you tightly*
My Japanese is sadly more than insufficient. If (!) you feel like it, could you please tell me what it says exactly?
