¡Yay! An adventure! I'm really excited to see where this will go, and very happy that the character voices are all so splendid! Bored Buffy rifling through the luggage, apt pupil Willow focusing on the final grade, Giles busy not leaping to conclusions, mominator Joyce. And the biggest mystery: what is Spike up to?

You have really got the characters acting and speaking as they should. Very nicely done. I love the environment as well, so many scary possibilities in a deep, dark wood! Looking forward to Ch 2.

Thank you! With all those lovely prompts from fagends, we had a lot to work with when it came to spooky settings so there'll be plenty more of that :D

I'm officially intrigued! Great start. I particularly liked Spike & Joyce drinking hot chocolate and watching Lawrence of Arabia. There isnt enough Joyce & Spike interacting out there!

There absolutely needs to be more Spike and Joyce interaction in fics! They are such a great pair and I just know they'd have all kinds of similar interests. And they'd watch old movies that Buffy & co would have never heard of nor care for.

I especially love fics where Buffy discovers to her great surprise somewhere in late s5 or so that Spike has been visiting Joyce and Dawn regularly without anyone informing her of it, and they have weekly movie nights or taped-Passions-episodes nights or similar. I will stop waffling on about Spoyce friendship fics now, swear.
