Haven't you heard? Master and Commander was an internet hoax modelled on the hoaxes based on the Star Wars prequels and the Matrix sequels. It never really happened; there were just a bunch of hoaxsters, prankers, and hackers pretending that they actually made an Aubrey/Maturin movie.
