I love this -- that they all recognize that the real treasure is not the ruby at all.

How disappointing that nothing did.

LOL! So used to trouble, they are. I liked that there was a basis in fact for the "dragon guarding the treasure" -- that was fun. Makes me wonder how much of those "here be dragons" in old travel narratives and maps was based on some sort of reality, and what it might have been. That's the lovely thing about this fandom, that blurred line between history and fantasy. Thank you so much, Ceria!
