I really don't like that Duncan hasn't even had time to come by. The conversations were nice. You really made them seem like they could sometimes hear what she said and at other times it was obvious they couldn't. I really hope she wakes up soon. And gets together with Weevil when she does. *g*
But, see... with Veronica being the one in the crash, and Meg being the one wide awake and unprotected by psycho-parents, Duncan has the change to learn something straight from the horse's mouth. Instead of through a letter. I'm trying to work on that right now... we'll see how it goes ;p
Thanks -- I'm glad you enjoyed the conversations. They were kind of hard to write. I needed Veronica's visitors to be having one-sided conversations, but in Veronica's head, she's meeting with them... so I had a hard time figuring out how they'd go.
This is an interesting "what if" and I'm waiting to see where you go with it! I really like the conversations/not-conversations you've got going on in this part, it's neat to see the POV of the person in the coma as opposed to everyone else.
This chapter works so well, the conversations are amusing, and also sobering, knowing she can hear what they are saying, doesn't truly understand the situation she's in, and is answering them.
I love the way you've written this, and I cannot wait to see how it develops.
