Loved the old models and lore. Did not care for the retcon (their king particularly disgusts me) or the halfassed job on the player models. Old sfk was awesome even if it was a los nightmare for me.
Yeah, the whole "lol they were nelf druids all along" thing just seems shoehorned as an excuse to give the Alliance a "badass" race. The second incarnation of the female worgen face from beta was infinitely better than the demented Chihuahua furry thing they've got going on now, and they bungled digitigrade legs yet again (it's like no one at their art department has ever seen a dog or horse in their entire lives).
Don't even get me started on the frothing stupidity of the worgen not joining the Horde and the Alliance taking them in. Cataclysm has been complete bullshit in the lore department, it really has.
At least I got a badass goblin rogue boy out of it (and a ton of awesome mounts/mini pets). I found Uldum to be nice but I avoid the other zones as much as I can. Molten front caused so much fucking drama in my guild with people griefing other hunters over those damn rares. I hate the female worgen. But the only worgen I have is a female. I wanted to at least see the story line and she somehow made a ton of gold without even trying. Shes a horde spy like my dre >:3. I don't like the "lump of hairy shit" shape the one mane option gets or how its always a dark color, even if the rest of the fur/hair isn't. I want a blond option for once! I liked the beta females. They didn't look rabid. I think of Layfield when I look at their face now.
I really hope they don't fuck up the female pandas by making them look like they have intestinal parasites/anorexia.
Admittedly not all the lore for this xpac has been crap. But YEAHHHHHHHH I think there will be an angry nerd mob marching on Irvine if they make female pandaren skinny and "sexy" like all the rest.
