She fiddled with her outfit, uncomfortable wearing such a fancy kimono. Kagome had insisted that she dress up for the festival, but she felt uneasy without her hair to hide behind or a giant weapon to warn off the perverts and lechers.

In this outfit she could barely move, let alone slap wandering hands. Thankfully Inuyasha had kept Miroku occupied and she was free to wander the streets of the village with Kagome and Shippou. The two were ahead of her, laughing and enjoying themselves while she took her time to take in the sights and concentrate on taking careful steps.

A voice rang out, startling her and nearly causing her to lose her balance. Only quick reflexes saved the beautiful kimino from being dirtied. Looking around, she spotted a familiar face, hesitating when she realized who it was.

"Sango-chan! It's been so long since I've seen you last!" In a matter of minutes she was enveloped in a hug that nearly took her breath away. It confused her that Shima would be so excited to see her of all people.

Unable to think of the proper words, Sango could only stare at the girl clutching at her. Without warning, the hold loosened and she was face to face with Shima. "Sango-chan, you look well. But I don't see Miroku-sama. Did you two have a falling out?"

"Eh, no, he's just otherwise occupied."

Shima merely grinned, a knowing look on her face. "He's still very hands on, I take it."

Sango's face flamed as the girl before her laughed. She wasn't sure if the fact that he had always been so grabby was a good thing or a bad thing.
