ok, THAT was awesome...problem is...you KNOW that would mean death for Harry...then again if he is being hidden by Albus until he is 17 and then just go live as a muggle it might work...but Voldy will be back by then and the wizarding world will be fully under his control and we KNOW that once the wizarding falls, the muggle world is only half a step away...so for growing up, Harry would be ok, but after that the future is kind of grim...

It also no doubt would have cut the story rather shorter, since I don't know how much interest a teen living with his relatives could muster. I guess hat's why the category is "What If" rather than "What Should Have Been".
