~gapes~ Oh my god, there are few things that pack more of a viseral punch than losing a child, but to do so in such a fashion is horrifying. You pulled this off beautifully. ~applause~

Awwww, poor Hermione. I feel so bad for her. Severus is so good to her. I like how it was Ron that intervened between Harry and Severus, though. Shows a side of him that I actually like.

I'm glad. I couldn't write them all as being emotional! Harry felt guilty, and Snape felt helpless. Ron was thinking of Hermione first.

*nods* Yeah. Harry tends to feel guilty for everything, and I'd say Severus is grieving too, in his own way ... and it's always easier to strike out at other people when you're hurting.

Agrees. And we know from canon that's what Snape does. Thanks Gelsey. I've also just got my first baby up at Petulant Poetess so this is all weird, new and stressful! LOL

I truly enjoyed this. Hearing what happened to Ron was depressing and the end was full of angst and hope at the same time. Thanks for posting this.

thanks Cormak! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I just started writing with no clue other than exploring internal/external scars. I'm a newbie writer and also just (today) had my first little fic (which is pretty much fluff) up at The Petulant Poetess. I never realized how stressful writing is!

I'm looking forward to reading yours too a bit later.

And yes, writing can be stressful. Just ask all my unfinished stories and the people mad at me for not being able to finish them! lol
