Challenge #89: The Death Scene

Title: No Other Way
Rating: PG
Pairing: I think it becomes a little obvious as it goes along...
Notes: Twenty-five minutes. First attempt at writing a death scene. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought it would be.
Credit: I stole one line of dialogue towards the end from Wuthering Heights and adapted it to fit ... just thought I should give Miss ( Read more... )

Well written and effective. I can't see Tom Riddle ever really caring about anyone other than himself, but I could see him choosing Minerva as someone appropriate for the image and life he was trying to create for himself. Nice piece. :)

I think the caring gestures of the TMR that strolled into my head & onto my computer screen for this one were more out of remembrance, maybe, than anything else. Thanks for reviewing - input's always appreciated!

Very nicely done! I kept trying to figure out who the characters were. Odd choice of pairing, but it fits.
