Alec Baldwin shows his Meryl Streep smarts

Meryl Streep was in a celebratory mood Sunday night following her Best Actress SAG award win, and Alec Baldwin was smart enough to capitalize on it.
The actor, a winner for Best Actor in a Comedy Series, interrupted Streep’s giddy dance-athon to ask her to appear on “30 Rock” - and it didn’t take much for the star to agree. “Meryl was delighted with the idea of appearing on the show,” a well-placed insider tells us. “She said yes immediately.”

Meryl to Make Laughs on Television…
Have no doubts that she will make another great episode for NBC’s hit show.
After beating Kate Winslet for Outstanding Actress at the SAG Awards, Meryl Streep was celebrating at the post party with fellow ‘Doubt’ cast members, when 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin joined the group. The two were talking for such a long time that Meryl’s daughter tugged on her mother’s arm to exist the convo.
But it couldn’t interrupt Alec’s friendly business. Our sources say that he was pleading with Meryl- “You got to come on our show you got to come on our show.” And Meryl, who isn’t known for comedic roles, happily said yes.

Meryl Streep also showed off her son and daughter to the room, only once ditching them to embrace Tina Fey in a massive hug. The actresses fussed over one another for a few moments, winners for their work in Doubt and 30 Rock, respectively.

I don't know about you guys but if Tina and TPTB make this happen, I think I might squee to death, because you know, she is Queen of everything awesome. Also, I would take Alec behind middle school and do much more to him than just get him pregnant. (TMI?)
