"Did she finally go back to sleep?" Sam asked as he rolled over to face Dean.

"Yeah. Probably won't be for long though. Getting teeth has to hurt."

"Did you give her Tylenol or Motrin?"

"Tylenol. She was so upset and I didn't want anything to irritate her stomach. She didn't even want her bottle, but I got her to drink some."

"That's because you're a good daddy," Sam reached out for Dean and pulled him close.

"Next time it's your turn to get up."

"I know."

Dean sighed, "Did you set the alarm?"

"Yep. Bright and early."

"I'm glad tomorrow's Friday. This week has been hell."

Sam murmured an answer as he buried his nose in the nape of Dean's neck. They'd become experts and falling asleep at the drop of a hat because they never knew when Elizabeth would wake up again.

***

The alarm woke them both up. Dean convinced Sam to stay in bed a little longer, he'd make the coffee and grab Elizabeth if she woke up. Sam gave him a kiss with morning breath and sunk back down into the bedding.

Dean started the coffee and tuned on the radio in the kitchen. He was humming along as he scoped out the refrigerator to see what he could throw together for breakfast. He was cooking and didn't hear when Elizabeth woke up. He went back to get Sam for breakfast and found him lying on his back with the baby sound asleep on his chest.

"Breakfast's ready." Dean pulled on his jeans and grabbed a shirt. "How's she doing?"

"Do you think she gets lonesome in her own room?"

"What?"

"Her room is down the hall from ours. Do you think she misses us when she's there?"

Dean let most of what Sam said slide by because of lack of sleep. "She's going to be clingy when she doesn't feel well. I can't blame her since I use you for a pillow, too."

Sam chuckled. "What did you make for breakfast?"

"Eggs. They're going to be cold if you don't get to the table soon."

He sat up with his arms securely around the baby and started to go through his clothes one-handed.

"I'll take Elizabeth and get her started on her morning bottle. Better move that butt of yours or you'll miss breakfast and any quality time with Elizabeth before Jo gets here!"

Sam dove for his clothes and found the ones that were the cleanest. He was going to have to tell Dean that they needed to do laundry soon.

He sat at the table, shoveling in food as he watched Dean cradling Elizabeth, talking to her in a soft voice until she smiled back at him around the nipple. The doorbell interrupted their domestic scene.

"That'll be Jo." Dean set the bottle down and raised Elizabeth to his shoulder to burp. "Time to go, Sammy."

After one more bite, Sam chewed as he went through the motions of getting his boots, hardhat and lunchbox.

"How are you this morning?" Dean asked the cheerful lady on his doorstep.

"Dying to play mommy," Jo took Elizabeth from him and she burped with Jo's first pat to her back. "Don't you have to get to work?"

"Sammy took time fixing his hair today."

Sam protest from deep inside the house.

"Okay, the little one kept us up with her teething," Dean explained.

"This little angel? I can't imagine her doing something like that. She's so sweet!" Jo brought Elizabeth into the living room and gave her one of her toys.

"Yeah, well, she'll probably sleep all day and keep us up again. Give her Tylenol and Motrin as usual if she needs it--"

"I know--"

"She needs to have a full stomach to take Motrin--"

"Yep--"

"And if she gets too fussy or you think we need to bring her in--"

"I'll call you. We've been over this. She'll be fine."

"I'm ready," Sam stopped by the front door and looked at Dean. "Are you?"

"Yeah."

Jo supplied, "He was giving me the rundown of everything I already know again."

Sam laughed. "He does that."

"Shut up," Dean snapped. "You're no better."

"I am when we leave her with Jo."

Dean grabbed his own hardhat and lunchbox and together they headed out the door to the construction site.

During their lunch break, the guys asked Dean questions about his sweet ride. He was so proud to tell them every detail about the Impala as they leaned forward with interest. Sam wandered off and called home to check on Elizabeth."

"Why do you guys keep calling?" Jo answered the phone.

"What do you mean keep calling? This is the first time I've checked on Elizabeth."

"The first time you called but Dean's already called twice."

Sam just shook his head at Dean's protective streak even though Dean teased Sam that he was the psycho-overprotective parent.

"So she's fine?"

"Of course. I'm letting her watch Barney. Don't tell Dean."

"I won't." Sam smiled. "You're going to catch hell for that you know."

"It'll be awhile until she starts to sing those annoying songs. I'm not too worried."

"Okay. We'll see you our usual time."

"Sure. Bye."

Sam chuckled as he walked back to his group of co-workers.

"Where were you?" Dean asked.

"Checking on Elizabeth. Guess you already did that."

Dean's ears turned red. "We've got to get back to work." He turned away before the guys could see him blushing.

"What's up with him?" a guy asked.

"Just got caught up in something at home," Sam picked up his tools and headed back to his work station.

***

Jo had already given Elizabeth her bath when Dean and Sam returned.

"Have any special plans for the weekend?" Dean asked.

"Working at the Roadhouse. Looking for Mr. Perfect. I kind of doubt I'll meet him at work."

"You never know," Dean warned. "Hunters are pretty perfect just on their own. I'm sure you could polish one up and impress Ellen."

"I'm not so sure about that." Jo slid her coat on. "See you on Monday?"

"Bright and early," he replied as he shut the door behind Jo.

Sam took a shower while Dean fed Elizabeth her bedtime bottle. Then, he came out and they switched places so Dean could shower.

Dean gave a relaxing sigh when he walked into their bedroom. Sam was already in bed.

"Did you tell her goodnight?" asked Sam.

"Of course I did. I made sure the baby monitor is on, tucked the blanket in around her, and kissed our baby girl. She's going to sleep for awhile."

"Good," Sam groaned. "I'm beat."

Dean stripped and slid across the sheets until his naked body was flush with Sam's nearly bare one. "Sammy," Dean whispered in his ear. "I thought maybe we could have some fun."

"Dean, I'm tired."

"I'll do most the work," Dean promised as his fingers hooked the waistband of Sam's boxers and slid them down over his hips.

Sam groaned but didn't protest. He even lifted up so Dean could get the offending clothing completely off.

"Don't I always?"

Dean pressed up against Sam's back as he reached in the drawer for the ever important bottle of lube. He kissed along Sam's neck as he raised one of Sam's legs to give him access to that sweet little hole. He teased Sam by running a slick finger around the rim over and over. Sam shifted his hips back, trying to get the digit inside.

"No way. Patience, Sammy. We don't get to do this much anymore. I plan on taking my time."

One hand gripped his pillow while the other clawed the sheets. An evil chuckle echoed in Dean's throat as he dipped his head to run his lips across Sam's shoulders as he slowly poked his finger in.

Sam gasped and tried to push himself back on Dean.

Knowing his brother's urge to move ahead, Dean slid another finger in. He stretched Sam around his fingers. The muscle gave little by little as he distracted Sam by finding the spot by his ear that worked every time.

"Dean . ." Sam whined.

"One more minute, Sammy." Dean lubed himself up before cautiously pressing himself in. Then, he laid still, formed to Sam's back. Dean had to catch his breath. "This is how it's going to work," Dean shifted his hips slightly. "Just a little, bit by bit."

Working his way to slow rhythm, Dean gently blew across Sam's sweaty skin. Goosebumps prickled a path across Sam's neck and he couldn't suppress a shiver. He reveled in the short thrusts that crept him closer and closer to completion. It was so good and simple and relaxing.

With sweat dripping down Dean's face, he reached around and took Sam in his hand. It didn't take much stroking before Sam called out and inside he pulsed against Dean in his channel. That sent Dean over and he was able to partially muffle his yell by burying his face in Sam's hair.

They laid there, trying to remember how to breathe. When they were still, the air was too cool when it stuck the dampness of their skin. Dean pulled the sheet over them and curled into Sam, who had flipped over to his back.

"We should clean up," Sam said half-heartedly.

"Nope. I'm tired and staying right here. We can wash the bedding tomorrow."

"At least it's the weekend."

"Besides, maybe we could have another go tonight."

"That's very optimistic for two guys with sleep deprivation."

Dean laughed. as he snuggled closer. "A man can dream."
