Personal Request and Mod Post - TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE!
Hi everyone, Dixxy here, with a personal request and a community request!
The personal business is this: BETA READERS PLXKTHX. I'm looking for another idea bouncer/spellchecker/etc. for an extension to one of my pieces from Set #1 (some of you may remember me saying there would be a longer version of it coming out at some point - it was this one). The other is a probable 30 chapter length piece for Round #2 (which I am running out of time to get my Silvers for). Please comment if you're interested in either or both.
The second piece of business is this: we're looking for a third moderator for the community! Bronze is very busy in real life (with successes!) and we're experiencing a lot of community growth because you guys are all awesome for joining, signing up, and posting. So here's the basic rundown:
1. Basic duties include accepting new claims (though not necessarily updating the list), opening/closing rounds, creating tags when someone starts a new set, keeping an eye on content (basically making sure grown up entries are marked as such) and whatever else we think needs to get done.
2. Accepting the position means you will get to see the prompt lists early and help work on them - just be aware this will cost you eligibility for Gold Roger Awards after your first round as a moderator and Silvers Rayleigh awards for all rounds after your second round. So, for example, you would still be able to go after the Gold Roger Award for Round #4, but you would not be able to get Gold Roger for Round #5, and starting Round #6 you will only be eligible for the Usopp award.
3. We kindly ask that our moderators are 18 or older.
4. We realize things come up, but we will get upset if you disappear on us in a couple of months.

Bronze and I will look over the applications and accept them through May 15 - the swiftness of our selection will depend on how many apps we receive but probably within a day or two. We're not looking for a doctoral thesis on 3 or 4 (and I certainly hope not on 1 and 2) - a paragraph or two will probably suffice.
