But I loved it! God the pacing is so good in this one, the pain Hutch is feeling mixed with the flippancy of Starsky's words, and with the cute ending comes the feeling of "Oh god, what?"

Heh... I think I referenced at least five episodes in this drabble. Starsky was not actually shot, drugged and menaced by a bear all in one episode - and actually the "Camille" reference comes from a first season episode in which he was shot (he said he'd played Camille in high school). But the drabble is set after the last episode in the series in which he did get shot three times in the back and had his heart stop briefly while in ER ( ... )
