I don't usually comment here, but I felt I needed to respond to this. This is a very powerful story, the way it moves from hatred and violence to love and validation. Trowa and Quatre are fictional, of course, but I feel like this story is very rooted in the real world.

I really did want to have that positive validation aspect be strong enough to carry the negative aspects of the piece -- especially through the action.
