Theme 30: Kiss

Hiruma x Mamori

‘And when they kissed, the night sky illuminated above them…’

“What’s that, damn manager?”

Mamori looked up, startled to see Hiruma leaning over her, popping his usual sugarless gum.  “N-nothing!  Just an assignment for English class!” she quickly tried to stuff it in her bag, only to have Hiruma pull it out and begin to laugh.

“Poetry?  You’re a fucking romance poet, damn manager?” he cackled, sporting a usual grin.  “Let me get a fucking copy of this for the Devil’s Handbook!”

“HIRUMA!”

***

He kissed her for the second time on their second date.  Mamori had always thought that the second kiss was the most important.  Because if you have a second kiss, then it obviously means you didn’t object to the first.

“Stop fuckin’ babbling and come here…”

***

In college, Mamori had been cast in one of the school’s musicals.  When she had told Hiruma, he had replied with “Who the fuck cares?”

Then she told him that she had to kiss another guy in the play.

He came to every show.

Funny, it seemed that the student forgot the kiss every time…

***

When they had graduated from college, Mamori had framed her diploma and placed it in their apartment.  Hiruma’s had ended up folded under his massive amount of football magazines.  Mamori took it and hung it up for him.

He paid her a kiss for the “fuckin’ trouble”.

***

Of all the time he was in the hospital, he kissed her twelve times.  Mamori was slightly disappointed with the number.  When she had broken her wrist a few years ago, she had given him at least thirteen.

***

At their wedding, Hiruma had actually spit out the words “I love you” in private to her at the reception.  She remembered his speech to her at the alter:

“I’m fuckin’ glad we’re getting married fuckin’ now.  That way we can have plenty of sex while we’re still young.  But who hired this fuckin’ old geezer?”

It had been embarrassing.

In her opinion, they had actually gotten married while sitting next to each other eating desert.

***

At the Forty-Niner’s game, Hiruma had screamed louder then anyone else in the stadium.  He would get up on the bleachers, scream in English at the coach, and then sit back down and explain to her what an idiot the guy was.

Mamori hadn’t enjoyed it much.

***

The day after Shouji was born, Hiruma had spent the entire night with him because of his cough.  Mamori had volunteered, but Hiruma said that he had everything “fuckin’ under control”.

Mamori kissed him and their newborn son, then walked off to bed, touched by the situation.

***

“Damn manager!  Stop eating like a fuckin’ pig!”

“Hiruma!  There’s a nicer way to ask for favors!”

“Stop complaining, damn manager!  I’ve got better stuff to do then listen to you fuckin’ complain!”

“I can’t believe you Hiruma!  You’re such a bully!  Stop picking on Sena!”

***

Why did I fall in love with him?

Why did I fall in love with her?

Umm…that’s a hard question…

That’s fuckin’ easy.

Well, I guess I’d have to say…

It’s fuckin’ obviously because…

He/She gets me.

In a way that no one else ever has…

And that’s pretty damn rare.

Pretty damn rare.

End.

Kiss me one more time…

Until then, Ciao for now…

YA-HA!

Well, that's it.  I'm done.  Finished.  Complete.  Over.  Kapoot.  You all know the story.  ^_^

Anyway, this has been really fun.  I got to write for one of my favorite pairings of all time, and I also became a better writer overall, especially with short pieces.  I used to have a phobia about drabbles.  I was like "OH MY GOD, what if 1,500 words isn't enough?!!!" Now, I write drabbles with pride!  I've learned that it's quality, not quantity, that makes a story truly good.

Anyway, the future?  I'll probably pick up another claim sooner or later.  Not right away though.  I've got other fanfics to catch up on, (not to mention the fact that I can't decide between a lot of my favorite pairings at the moment.)

So, once again, thank you 30_kisses and thank you everyone who read  my pieces!  It's been a great ride!

Until then,
Ciao for now!
