That is a cute drabble of the two. I never read Peacemaker Kurogane myself but I think you did well with the theme. I really like the exposition.

Thank you. Actually, I've just begun reading Peacemaker the truth is I caught it on Stars one evening and decided to watch it. I think it was like 27 episodes long or something. Thank you again.

Thanks, see I am learning. 'Chuckles.' I think that's the shortest critism you left me yet. :) Spectacle...yeah, I wanted some other word, but it wouldn't come to me, and I have a habit of saying coolly in my stories so I wanted something different. You can see the result of that. Hmm as for the commas, some are mine and some are my english teacher's so I don't know. English is a confusing language. Thanks a lot though.

It's all right, I don't mind. :) Nitpicky is good if you want someone to improve. 'Chuckles.' My mom use to be the same way, but then she got older, and she tended to forget things. I remember a lot of my papers have glaring red marks all over when she check them for me. It was like a chicken went psycho with red paint on my paper. :D

Wai! Someone else who's watched/read Peacemaker! It's one of my favorite series, the artwork is nice and crisp and I love the historical background. I like the idea of gambling to settle ownership, since it was very common to sell an offspring or even oneself for debt or honor. My only pet peeve is that they used a cardgame ^^; Back then, Japan didn't have cards and Shinsengumi were very opposed to Western influence to ever learn poker =p

Yep, I read it and watched it, it really is a beautiful series. 'Hangs head.' I know, I was going to use the dice game they tend to show, but I couldn't remember how it went, and that meant I had to introduce another character for the one who tosses the dice. I'm not to fond of random OC's. Sorry! Thanks though for the comment.

Ah, I agree with you regarding adding original characters either, there's nothing worse than throwing in a random character without any character development. The dice game can be played between the dealer and one other player =p But then again, not everyone is a history/gambling fan like me, lol. ^^;
