Mm. Well, you know I love your Severus, darling. This is really quite poignant, in an odd way, and displays well the foundations of his character.

Everyone loves my Severus...oh. Snape? Well he'd not lovable but thank you :)

I cringe at the thought of someone named Tobias acting like that. But then, I am extremely biased toward the name, in an odd way. Still, your writing is profound and gives a fabulous background explanation for Snape's personality. Well done. *huggles* Haven't ever read your writing before I don't think...

I know (about Tobias). I still think about Tobias from Animorphs whenever I read that name. Thank you dearest!

*first attempt at fanfiction, so probably not*

Having read this after part two (because I'm dumb like that), shall say that, aye, enjoyed this, as well. Much love for the resilient little Severus. Espcially liked the bit with the image of his mother washing dishes.

very nice imagery. I have a feeling Snape suffered horribly too. This would account for his profound anger he holds on to. I found a couple of typos you may want to fix.

Where you say 'Emancipated' did you mean emaciated?

And where you said: beefy 'had' did you mean beefy hand? Just a catch nothing big. I really enjoyed your perspective on Snape. He's one of my favrites. Great work.
