Final notice before the first purge
On October 1st, I will be going through the claims list and purging all pairings that have not been updated. If you've requested a couple before August 14, you need to either a)post something new, or b) ask for an extension. Please, please, please let me know if you need an extension (and how much time you think you'll need) before the first purge date by replying to the appropriate threads. You can even ask me on this post. I don't want to see anyone lose their pairings. :)
About updating: Since I won't be doing the purge until later in the evening of October 1, you can still post on that date and keep your pairing. However, extension requests need to be made by midnight September 29.
About extensions: You don't need a "dire" reason for an extension. I'm going to do away with the rule of extensions for "extenuating circumstances" only. If you're not feeling inspired, you're not feeling inspired and I can certainly relate to that. So please. Even if it's just the need for a little more time, please ask for an extension. There have been a lot of great stories posted by people and I'd hate to see anyone lose a pairing. (I'm not including myself. I'm the moderator. :))
