Slice and dice Mayor. Giles is going to drive Spike crazy now. So now that the Mayor has been taken care of(I hope)will Angel leave town like he did before or will he hang around and screw up the time line? And what about Faith? Will she be in the story? I know, I know. Can't answer the question cause it would spoil things.

:) Remember, he already left town. When Spike got him to go see Giles and Jenny to ask Jenny about the curse. Faith won't be around because without Buffy dying at the Master's hand, Kendra wasn't called and without Kendra called and dying at the hands of Dru, who is now dust herself, Faith won't be called. Eck! Confusing. LOL!

For some reason I'm finding the image of Spike in a baseball cap very amusing.

Love the way you're changing canon!

It is a funny visual, isnt it. LOL!

Thank you. We've had a lot of fun playing with canon.

Spike making quick work of Trick was vivid and entertaining, and I like that not doing it in a fair fight made him feel a bit sick. It wasn't very sporting, but it was efficient.

The scene with The Mayor and Giles was hilarious even though it was violent and gory. Spike having to bundle up Mayor bits and trundle down the fairway painted a very comic picture.

I loved this: They hacked at the still animated corpse until it finally ceased to move, by which time both Giles and Spike were covered in gore.

“The remains need to be burned,” Giles stated.

“What? You knew about him? That’s why you were here?”

“No. It just seems like a good thing to do when dismembered things keep on moving,” replied Giles. I love unflappable Giles coming to the point. The beheaded Mayor grabbing at things was also quite gross and funny.

:) Thanks so much. And that is exactly it. Spike likes a fair fight.

Sigh. This Guardian job is gorier than you'd think. Quite amusing too. Loved that Giles happened upon Spike's assassination of the Mayor. Made things oh so much more complicated. This is such a joy to read, you both did an excellent job on it.
