He might as well. With all the knock on variables of him simply not killing all those people he killed the last time and of Dru as wild card still on the continent it is bound to change the future immeasureably by the time Buffy comes to be called, if she ever is. otoh. way to go to ruin the story. Am busy reining in my maths brain and going with the flow for all I'm worth!

Meanwhile could Spike please go to a few concerts and theatre shows for me? I always wanted to totally waste time travel on catch-up like that.

Aww, what a lovely chapter. Loved the last paragraph, especially. I'm curious as to whether you're going to dip in and out of Buffy's life now, or just fast forward to when she arrives in Sunnydale. Guess you knew what you were doing when you called this fic 'Anticipation', huh? Making us anticipate the chapters :P

Oh, how sweet was that? Spike has a plan now. Hopefully this time his plan will work better than it often did. He gets to watch Buffy grow up. Wonder how Angel will respond to Spike getting in his way? Not with a nod I bet. LOL. Love the bits of history finding their way into the story.

Awww... That was so sweet and adorable. Spike will be a wonderful and adoring guardian angel for Buffy.

My absolute favorite part was Buffy gripping Spike's finger, so imagine my delight when I scrolled down the page and saw that banner of simple perfection, complete with black nail polish! It captures the tenderness of that magical moment wonderfully!
