Great to see another update. I actually sat and read this all the way through again last night (including Happiness) and today there's a new chapter, yay!

I love the fact that this chapter talks about his addiction again. The future will never be all rosy for him but knowing that Cameron accepts House for who he is and is willing to be strong for him... and the fact that he's finally opening up emotionally to her in all aspects of his life... I find it really touching. Plus we have to deal with reality, and once an addict...

Anyway you've no idea how much I love this fic, and I'm so glad you're over the moon at the nomination because you deserve it! Enough gushing from me now, I'm off to read it again!

This always makes me beam...then I just feel jealous of those who can read that stinkin' fast!! I tried re-reading it a couple weeks ago and it took me three days. :\

I love the fact that this chapter talks about his addiction again

This chapter was initally supposed to be about his leg and not his addiction. But when it came time for him to resist her help - I just couldn't write it - House wouldn't let me! :) It's amazing how many times the characters dictate what happens. This is what took me so long to update this time - I had to re-work it like three times.

Thanks for all the encouragement and love you have for these stories...it makes me all warm and gooey inside. :) Oh...and have I ever told you just HOT that icon of yours is? Gah!

Damn, that was intense. And you hit all the right notes with all the characters. Wilson feeling a bit of jealousy and realizing House isn't going to need him like he did before, and I especially like how he acknowledged to himself that he would've given in and gotten the vicodin for House. That is so true.

And Cameron...I'm speechless with how well you captured her emotional turmoil and her strength. She is exactly what House needs.

This whole thing has been amazing. I didn't discover it 'til a few chapters ago, but I'm so glad I did. And it definitely deserves the nomination. Congrats.

That was tough! I just kept seeing Wilson toss that Vicodin bottle at House gosh...I don't remember the episode...during the Tritter arc. Wilson is a bizare balance between good friend and dangerously needy and enabling. It was hard to write that and not make him seem like a pusher or a bad friend. I hope it that got communicated.

As I already told you in my beta, and others in their own comments, this chapter was a huge step forward for everyone. They've turned a corner and seem to be accelerating towards victory! How corny was that?

I wouldn't say small...you were hugely intrumental in getting it to this point. You know it would have ended at about chapter 6. :) And so many great opportunities would have been totally missed if it weren't for our brainstorming fun - so....thank you!

ggrrr...mean...yes. I have neglected so many things....but I am going to miss it. It was never supposed to last this long - I'll plan better if/when I do another multi-chapter project like this.
