One of my birthday presents from Robert was a cooking class at Sur La Table. He wasn't sure which one I'd like best, so he brought me the schedule so I could chose. I'm torn between two.

Definitely appetizers, Robin. Apart from the fact that they are so much more exciting to eat, that first one sounds a bit earth-mother-y. And I don't see you as an earth mother!

If it were me I'd definitely go with bread baking. Commercial breads have so many undesirable ingredients, like partially hydrogenated oils and preservatives and too much sodium. Plus I am wheat sensitive so it would be great to know how to make all of those desired bread-y items but just use a different kind of flour.

But this is you we're talking about here. Since you like to entertain and are always looking for new hors d' oeuvres that sounds like the best class. Or if neither idea excites you quite enough there's no rush. You could always wait another month and see what crops up.

I doubt my response was very helpful, since I can see an argument for all three options.
