My Home Town - Day 2

When I go for my morning walk, I go out the door, down an alley, and turn onto a dead end street that makes me think I might have shut my eyes, clicked my heels and been transported to England. Isn't it pretty? I can't walk down this street without stopping to smell and admire. It's not unusual for me to come home and find I have pollen on the end of my nose.

Oh wow, those are so beautiful!!! I envy your environment!!!! Around here, if I go for a walk, I'm so busy ducking the gunfire that I don't get much time to enjoy the scenery... if you can even call it that. :-)

Well, that doesn't sound like much fun. *shudder* The only thing I have to avoid here are the marauding crows. Mind you, they can be pretty scary, too.

sooooo pretty! My grandmother used to grow roses. She had a magic touch (I tend to kill all my plants....except for the cacti!)

Grandmothers do seem to have a magic touch with roses, don't they?

I had a cactus once that looked very soft. I spent the next week trying to get the prickles out of my thumb.
