The people having a good X-mas are Panda, Cook, Freddie, maybe Thomas and Katie.

Man that would be ironic as fuck if Emily didnt get into Uni and Naomi got into the Uni she didn't even want to go to.

its Emily! all she cares about is holding onto the girl she's been crushing on for 2 years. Nothing like logic and reason can come into that :) lol

This made me so sad for JJ in just a couple of lines. I think he's easily the most tragic of them, but we never really see that in the show.

Also felt strangely sad for Cook and Freddie, even though things look like they're being sorted. It's just like, dunno, they've missed all time together over the last year because of Effy and they still have to work to fix it.

And, of course, Naomi and Emily. This is gonna go well bad if uni things go wrong :(

I think you're right that JJ's the most tragic of them (maybe Effy? Although I think she brings it more on herself). As for Freddie and Cook - you're right, it's difficult for them to just go back to how it was. I think that's a recurring ~theme in the story.

Yeah, Effy seems like it on the surface but I think we're seeing her problems really come to a head just now, whereas I feel JJ's had his troubles for far longer. And he seems less able to cope when it all goes REALLY shitwards. It's a close run thing though.

This is the best one by a million percent. You really nailed all the characters on the head in this one, I especially liked Katie and JJ's but they were all fantastic.

Your last Katie piece wavered a bit with her characterisation but you managed to get her spot on in just a few tiny lines.
