If you haven't already. TTU turned out some seriously fantastic stuff for its vampire challenge, and I encourage you to read these even if vampire/AU stuff isn't your thing. I know what you mean. Epitaph ripped my guts out, such that I couldn't even properly comment after reading it. I think I need to go tell Rose how fucking brilliant she is.

YES! These were all fantastic. I really liked shinyopals' as well, though it was less on the angst.

I don't know what it was about that challenge, but it seemed like it caught everyone's imagination.
