toenails and drama queens

I just cut my dog's toenails. Might sound boring to some, but in this household it's a hell of an achievement. Phoebe is the biggest diva, makes any pampering (eg baths, haircuts etc) into an ordeal....won't let anyone go near her private parts (which is actually necessary to remove knotty hair in such crucial areas - for her own comfort!! this

Silly puppy! Moxie is not keen on her claws being cut either after watching Lizzie getting hers done under duress. I actually felt like a bad Mother afterwards. Moxie stood in the doorway with wide eyes while we held Lizzie down, and then ran away and hid when we'd finished...!

yeah you have to be cruel to be kind sometimes. I feel sorry for Phoebe being a long-haired dog sometimes, cos it does require a lot of maintenance. Everything on her just grows and grows. Beans has it so easy.
agh, I'm not sure why I'm still up.. probably all that sleeping I did in the daytime today. Well, see you tomorrow in hell.. i mean at work.
