Aw, I still love this. Poor David. First having to deal with all the shit from Crosby and now Lupul... Only a matter of time before he breaks. Just wonderful.

And I still <3 Zee. Even more, if possible. :)

I love Zee too. As for poor David, hopefully that WAS the big break, and we know Zee and Milan are there to help pick up the pieces.

Thanks so much for the comments and ecouragement. Much appreciated. :-)

We could all use a Chara in our lives.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. That really helps make my day too. :-) And thanks so much for the lovely comments.

gahh my heart is breaking for david, poor guy. he's lucky to have a captain like zee to pick up the pieces, and the rest of the guys, too.

great work again, i just love how you write these boys, its beautiful. can't wait for more from you!

and ugh i miss sobotka too. it should be illegal for boys to be that pretty.

Thank you so much! I saw a quick TV clip recently of Vladdie in a video of last year's Bruins wives' carnival and I must admit I did a little squee at the sight of him. Of course the B's defensemen drop like flies but the forwards stay remarkably healthy. Sigh. ;-)

I might have a Savvy/Sobotka fic sometime soon - it's rattling around in my brain a bit, though I'm not sure yet where it's going.

that is a fantastic idea, i miss your savvy/vladdie fics. it's such a beautiful side of savvy to see, and ugh the pure adorableness of sobotka makes it melt-my-brain worthy. you should definitely get on that! =)

I guess I'll have to do that. It does tend to get a bit busy when they start rattling around in my brain the way they do. ;-)

nice work. i like the little changes you made from the earlier draft; just little stuff, but it tightened up the story. good impulses!

still love the stick break/stick not-break moment the best. chara is so fabulously calm all the time. totally the right man for the job.

aww, krech, why you make me love you so?

love.
love.
love.

Thanks so much! Funny how these stories - at least the way I conceive them - often come as a series of moments, and the stick moment was one of the most prominent when I was thinking about it. I could just see it as a way for Chara to unobtrusively bring Krejci back to earth.

David is just too loveable. Poor boy.
