They practically had to smack each other upside the head, didn't they? ;-) Guys can be so aggravating sometimes.

Thanks so much for the comments. They're greatly appreciated!

As for future works, a little Krejci/Lucic action is percolating. :-)

I was worried there for a minute that Phil was going to be the bad guy. Yay for happy endings! And Chara just amuses the hell out of me. Just the sway he has over everyone and the way he just owns the team; he's like some mafia mob boss. It's great.

Poor Phil - he's just a naughty boy, no real malice, just thinking with his dick, like a lot of boys. ;-)

Chara's a piece of work, isn't he? That team does belong to him, no doubt about it.

Thanks for reading and commenting! Keeps me going!

happy endings ftw, for everyone. eee. i love the sense of resolution that comes from this: the guys went down a path and yeah, everyone actually learned something. i love the pulling-teeth confession moment of "i love you"s for savvy and sobotka - sobotka descending into nonsensical czech as a coping strategy is awesome. (it's too bad the canadians don't have an equally powerful language escape. ;D) love chara exacting payment for his services. ;D love kes the skittish kitten. also, the dialogue is great, all of it. the guys feel like guys, and true teammates, despite the harrowing and hinky situations they keep finding themselves in. i love how tangled and twisted it all gets before it can all be set to to rights.

as per usual, I LOVE THIS.

Thank you so, so much! :-)

Funny how it did end up working out, because when I started, believe it or not, I didn't have a clue how it was going to resolve itself!

I'm glad too, that you noted the guys feeling like guys angle; I work hard at this, trying to make their dialogue as "guy-like" as possible. Hence the pulling-teeth nature of Vladdie and Savvy's "I love you"s. Vladdie only voices it because he's afraid of losing Marc, and Marc only voices it because of Vladdie's obvious desperation (and of course, as he says, by this point he's an emotional basket case. One more blow and he's probably ready for the rubber room.)

Poor boys - I haven't written anything quite so angsty since with Vladdie and Savvy (well, one story is maybe a wee bit angsty - it is hard to resist with these two); I ended up writing several pure smut or amusing stories just to give them a break. ;-)
