Hopefully Lucic and Krejci will provide me with some more inspiration this season. I really like them together.

I'm glad you liked that line, because for David, asking someone to move in is a huge step; the way I've written his character over previous stories, he's a guy who really values his privacy and has never made it a habit to sleep (meaning sleep in the literal term) with anyone. But Milan really made him open up. I love Milan. :-)

The way you write him is exactly how I picture his personality.. which is pretty amazing! And with such an adorable personality, who can keep anything hidden?!
I really hope you write more with the two of them :)

Funny how they evolved as a pair; they do seem so RIGHT (yet so odd) as a pair, their chemistry works so well, yet I never planned for them to be together. I had simply pictured Milan as a perfect foil for Thornton (in "Revelations")in that he (Milan), unlike Chara and Sturm, doesn't have that sense of authority or experience. He's apparently the stereotypical hockey player (big, brawny fighter), someone Shawn can identify with, and he ends up turning everything upside down for Shawn with his attitude.
That provided the germination for his relationship with Krejci, which solved a problem regarding David as well - I realized I really wanted him to be with someone; he needed it. Even though he didn't realize it himself. It's like he had something missing from his life, and didn't realize that it was missing until he found it.
(BTW, in RL, Milan does live in the North End, but his roommate is Mark Stuart. I find that fairly amusing. ;-) )
