Awwww... I like that the Dad is being cool about everything. You have to make them get it on, though, in the house. In my mind, parents would be no inhibiting factor. If anything, they'd have some sort of quietness contest. Here I go again, on my silly tangents...

I see Ian is his usual devious self -- electing not to tell Andrew. I like that decision, because I think that's what he'd really do, though it will likely come back to haunt him.

I am kind of sad Vesa is a jerk. He's so ... mmmm ... dreamy.

Oh! I was going to ask you. Can non-passengers go down the concourses in Canadian airports nowadays?

Totally random question, but I haven't been in a Canadian airport since the summer of 2001 -- before 9/11.

Not entirely certain....I hardly ever leave the country and if I do it's by car. So I'm not sure how much Lester B. Pearson Airport has cracked down. I'm going to say yes, cause I think we're a little more lax with our security.

I tell you. Unless you are a ticketed passenger here in the U.S. you cannot go down the concourses. I think life is a little sadder for it. No more of those romantic moments where someone comes up the Jetway and runs into the arms of his beloved. No more seeing someone off from the concourse, watching lovingly as the plane pushes back from the gate. (One of my favorite scenes in the movie, Almost Famous could never happen today.) I think that's really sad.

So much of the joy of travel has been lost.

I LOVE that movie! That's such a sad scene, I always feel so bad for him. It's like there goes the love of your life...never to be seen again. Such an awesome soundtrack!

You know what? The commentary on the night with Joe has me thinking. I'd like to see a fic about a bad sexual encounter. Not like someone forcing themselves on someone else, but just an unsatisfactory night. 'cause you know they happen -- a lot.

Loved it - so cute with Ian's dad being accepting of the whole thing, although I have to agree with Kaatiya...not telling Andy about that kiss is going to bite him in the ass (because doesn't it always?).
