The next day started much like yesterday, no one woke up until midday and when we did we made Matty make breakfast again. He seemed to be in a very good mood, for whatever reason. He didn't even argue about cooking.
We decided to have a soccer game out in the yard in the afternoon to keep ourselves entertained. The teams were me, Kyle and Carlo vs. Alex, Jeremy and Ian. Matty had decided to play referee, and by referee I mean sit on the sidelines, drink beer and heckle us.
I was the goalie (no big surprise) for our team and Jeremy had taken that position on the other side. Alex and Ian were charging up the field, Kyle body checked Alex out of the play (hey, we’re hockey players…) so that Ian was coming at me full force. He had that same look on his face as he had when he just left me last night. I stood my ground as he dribbled the ball up to our make-shift net, my hands were out ready to catch the ball. Instead of kicking it though he just charged into me, knocking me over and the ball went into the net.
There I was in the same position as last night, Ian sitting on top of me and not knowing what the fuck was going on. His hand brushed my crotch as he rolled off me, and a slight shiver went up my spine. He grinned at me when he stood up, offering his hand to help me up.
“You know if we were in an actual game, you would get called for goaltender interference. Don’t you defensemen know anything?”
He laughed, “I guess I’m just a full contact kind of guy.” He winked at me, as his back was to the other guys.
I snorted, “Apparently not…” I was still a little pissed from the night before.
“Just be patient. There’s no need to rush into anything. We’ve got the whole summer.”
“Hey, what are you two girls talking about down there? Let’s play some soccer!” Jeremy was getting impatient.

We definitely ended up winning the soccer game, so we made the losers go streaking into the freezing cold water.
“That’s right losers, keep walking!” Kyle shouted at them as they hesitantly walked over to the shoreline and he videotaped the whole thing.
Matty laughed, “Just jump in quickly and get it over with! Think of it as an amateur polar bear dive. It’s not that cold anymore.”
“Fine for you to say, you’re still in your fucking warm clothes!” Alex yelled back at us, cursing as the waves washed over his feet.
“Fuck it!” Ian jumped in the water as we all laughed hysterically by the bon fire.
Ten minutes later we were all sitting around the campfire Alex, Ian and Jeremy shivering under their towels as we still cracked jokes about their little midnight skinny dipping.
Kyle waved his camera around, “Guess what’s going to be posted all around the locker room next season.”
Alex made a grab for the camera but Kyle held it out of his reach, smiling evilly as he and Matty laughed about the whole thing.
“Serves you right.” I smirked at Ian, with the kind of satisfaction that only comes when you are the winner and you’ve embarrassed the hell out of the loser.
He shrugged, “It’s nothing they haven’t seen before. But damn…that water was freezing. I don’t think I’ll ever be warm again.”
“Well,” I leaned over to whisper in his ear, “I bet I could figure out a way to warm you up.”
His smile widened further, “You think so?...” He cleared his throat, “You know what guys I’m kind of wiped from this whole interesting day, I think I’m going to turn in early tonight. Maybe go inside and try to warm up a little.”
He pretended to stretch and then whispered, “Meet me in your room in 15,” over his shoulder.
I waited like he had said and then yawned stretching, “You know what guys I’m pretty tired too. I’ll see you fools in the morning.”
They muttered their good nights and went back to their conversation, I noticed Matt and Kyle exchange a look like they didn’t quite believe I was tired at midnight.
I practically ran back across the lawn to the house, in through the door, up the stairs and then stopped in front of my door. I hardly noticed myself fixing my hair before I walked in.
The bathroom light was on and the shower was running, but as I came in it turned off and Ian came out in naught but a towel. I knew I was staring but I couldn’t help myself, I loved taking in every inch of him.
He walked over to me, and pushed me slowly over to the bed keeping eye contact the whole time. “You lie right here…and I’ll be right back. I’m in the mood for a little dessert.”
I was confused but I listened, I didn’t want a repeat of yesterday. Well that’s not true, I did, just with an ending this time. I sat on the bed waiting for him to come back. The door opened and Ian walked in with a can of whipped cream, some chocolate sauce and the biggest smirk I've ever seen. I looked at him in disbelief,
“Are you serious?”
