I used to be so good about posting updates. Life gets busy though. I've had a good bit fall onto my plate over the last couple of months. I am finally the Trustee of my brother's estate. They used to call that Executor but changed it for some reason *shrugs*. Whatever. Power/job is the same. I'm now legally able to start disposing of his stuff. ( Read more... )

Being a trustee/executor of an estate can really be exhausting.
My parents tried to make it as easy on me as they could.
Unfortunately their attorney wasn't worth whatever they paid him.

There is a lot that needs to be done. Fortunately the Hubby is the one handling the items in the house. Inventory control is actually his regular day job and the current situation is such that he can be at my brother's house taking care of doing all that. If I needed to do all that on my own, given the distance from where I live to my brother's house, it would be a truly daunting task. Well... more daunting than it already is.
