Whew! Busy weekend was busy. I spent 5 hours on Saturday working on the marketing/art forms for Muse. I had a devil of a time picking an excerpt. But that's usually the way it goes. I also gave what I hoped was a really detailed description of Misu and Gunari for the cover art. I also set them photos of the dolls that the characters are based off

so i know i'm not all up on how your publishing thing goes (bad friend!) and you mentioned art for your story - do the publishers get artists to make art for your books?
i think having some bring to life a character you create has got to be really awesome. i would LOVE to see good renditions of some of my creations. do all your published stories come with art? i've get to get my ass over to TQ and check out your stuff. i'm always excited for you when you get something posted there.

Custom art depends on the size of the story. Short stories (8K or less) don't get custom covers. Novellas and up do. Muse is novella in size and yes, they have artists that try and get what you would like to see (within reason) for your cover. That's why they ask for as much detail as possible so that you'll be happy with the cover.

I'd love to get some sketches done for some of my guys. I'd like to have something of El-Ashir & Bertram, Cephian & Naceen and Xai-shen & Llaeseaf. It's highly doubtful that any of them will have covers unless I publish myself and pay somebody to do them for me.

However, it's much more likely that I will have covers for say... Aaron & Sam (The Ugly Incubus), Orajin & Ivriah (Slip Of The Tongue), Adrial & Dorren (Hush Of Angels) and possibly even Makis, Mered & Kushaiah (Some Velvet Morning).

You know... busy weekends, even when fun, take a lot more energy than slow weekends. XD I hope you're recovered by now. *hug*

Yay for picking an excerpt for Muse. I know that's the part you struggle with the most. *nod* I'm so intrigued to see what the cover art looks like for this story, since I've seen the dolls (in non-modded form). I'm still so excited that they accepted the story and also wondering what type of reception it will get from the reader base.

I'm definitely looking forward to a full update on the Cafe Nocturne turnout this year. *grin* You had such a great time last year, so I'm betting it will be enjoyable this time around too. ^_____________^

But yes... you don't just use a random icon as your default. XD I'm really not sure I'd be able to get a flat chested look, and I'm quite impressed that you do manage it. I bet you were glad to get out of that outfit after a full day. Although I do enjoy the corset I got from Y-con back in 2008. XD XD It doesn't decrease the chest size though.... ^____^

I still have a chest even with a binder and having it really tight. But maybe with the addition of a sports bra, that'll help more. I think it's almost impossible to go from a 34DD to flat as a boy.

I'm hoping the cover turns out the way I imagine it will (or close to). I gave them pretty good pics of Gunari and Misu so ....
