I haven't written a fic review of more than a couple of sentences in...far too long, so please bear with me. The mood was excellent, I liked your characterization and attention to detail that some authors will forget, like Roger's callused fingers.

The only thing that you might want to fix is that the phrase "with the same reckless abandon that he used to chase girls" feels like it's missing a word, or maybe I'm just thinking too much into it because I think it makes more sense if it were "once used".
