is the a specific faculty member youre interested working with at st k/t or one at augsburg?

thats another thing to look into (quickly unfortunately). overall program feelings are good, but look at whos work you find the best suits your determinable path of study or interests in the work.

with grad schools, find the faculty member who you want to work with and use that as a heavy weight in deciding.

this is generally good advice, but there really isn't just one person i want to work with at either school. i haven't narrowed down exactly where i want to focus enough to have specific social work heroes. this makes it tough to apply your otherwise very good advice.

are there certain fields/aspects of social work you feel pulled too? certain causes or type of people you want to focus on helping?

if yes, then look at the faculty and see whos in that more specific area (probably not exact but hopefully complimentary at least) by what they have published.

I totally spoke too soon when I said on the phone that both cats were now healthy. (sigh) No sooner did we hang up than Hobbes appeared, blinking, with his poor little eyes red and watery. Looks like he picked up Kira's pinkeye - damnit! He's much harder to catch for treatment!
