Sippy Cup of Christphoenix2meJanuary 22 2009, 18:31:30 UTC
There was one Christmas when you had a party and invited all your guests to choose as a gift one pottery item you'd made. I chose a very simple, handle-less cup, which we decided reminded us (don't remember who comprised "us" anymore", though I'm pretty sure Bea was there for it) of the cup of Christ in Indiana Jones.
I was holding it and talking with it, and I said it felt so good in my hand, it was weighted just right, that I was pretty sure that if I put a liquid in it, as I talked I would surely swing it around and I would sooner or later dump it in the lap of whatever Peer was sitting next to me.
I think it was your own suggestion that you make a lid to go with it, so it became known as the "Sippy Cup of Christ".
