Here we are! We made it to Pittsburgh for the convention. I had to rent a car and wound up with an '05 chevy Impala. :) The drive in wasn't too bad considering it was my first long distance road trip. I did the entire drive by myself. magusstar13 is here with me. So, now I'm gonna take a day and show him all the wonders that are McKeesport and we'll ( Read more... )

I lived in Pittsburgh for 9 years in the 80s. I love that town and there is allot of great places to see and eat. I recommend Mineo's pizza in Squirrel Hill and Del's Italian restaurant in Bloomfield. They can be easily found in the yellow pages. There is some fabulous articture in Oakland at the University of Pittsburgh, Cathedral of Learning. All through Squirrel Hill and Shady Side. PPG Building in downtown. And try to get up on Mt Washington to see the convergence of rivers overlooking the city. Fabulous!

You lived there? I must have missed you. I grew up in McKeesport! :) Next time we're going back when we dont' have a lot planned so we can see that much more. :D We did manage to get him up to Mt.Washington... he wants to go back, or move there. We've got him hooked on Eat n' Park food. :D lol...

We were at the tattoo convention. It was at the Radisson, right near where Lizzie lives. :)

Lol... I used to have tons of friends in 10th ward. It really doesn't worry me. ;)

I actually did cruise through while we were there, but it was late. :(

The only places I dont' really go are the Harrison and Crawford villages.
