I have been really, really busy lately, which is why I haven't been posting and I haven't been writing.  And I missed the last two episodes of Supernatural because I had to go to dance rehearsal.  (I know!  I know!)  But I finally sat myself down tonight and watched them.  And OMG YOU GUYS!!

Thoughts.  I have them.  My thoughts are days late, but I ( Read more... )

4. And he came with Cas! I've said it before and I'll say it again: I want Cas and Sam to be BFF's so much. I want them to geek out together over random ancient texts and hang out in libraries together and totally bewilder Dean with random ancient references.

YES YES YES. Where is the internet petition I can sign to make this happen?

lol - We should start one! Or at least write lots and lots of Sam/Cas friendship fic. Dean would be *so uncomfortable* with the fact that his brother and his angel are making plans to go to Starbucks to drink girly drinks and talk about philosophy or something. Dean would totally go find a haunting or something to distract them and get them back to being interested in what really matters (like burning corpses).

Okay...I may have just come up with the plot for a fic I have NO TIME to write. I blame you!

Drunk Castiel is awesome! He's just so irritated at everything.

You know, looking back, I wouldn't be surprised if the writers introduced Adam with the purpose of him being a vessel. That was 4.19, and of course, we learn more about vessels in 4.20, and it's in 5.01 that we learn Dean is Michael's vessel.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Back in the day I could never understand from a storytelling perspective what the point was of introducing another Winchester brother just to kill him off before Sam and Dean even met him. So the episode just sort of pissed me off because I didn't see *why.*

But now, thinking about that episode in retrospect, the writers may have just been super subversive, introducing another vessel and then killing him to have him in reserve. This especially makes sense with the timing of the episodes.

I'll say it again: Yay show! \o/
