Well, we put down a bid on that house (see last entry) and it got countered for $10,000 more, which we accepted. If all goes well (legal review, inspections, mortgage), this is the house we'll be closing on at the end of October.

Yeah, we're old folks now. All grown up and everything.

We've got to do some work on the place, but maybe a late November party will be in order.

Actually, our current apartment is right next to that place ("Family Buffet"). The new house is a bit further up the road.

wow, that's really nice. i've had a bunch of marriages, but you guys are the first home-buyers i know of in our age group. congrats!
