God will turn that pillow into oxygen and pre-chewed steak, sustaining her precious life for a few months longer.

On a serious note, constitutional law is a useful tool, but generally not the end of any game. I think the standing issue presented as update two might be stronger, since there is an injury lacking here to the parents and they aren't the legal caretaker. Besides, it's always easier to toss a hard case on standing grounds than it is to decide it.
