I have always found Prussia a little hard to write for, but I think I pulled it off.

The theme idea was certainly part of the exchange.

Yeah, I wrote this over a couple weeks so I never made the connection that I'd start using words over. I was more concerned about getting the history across, I suppose. I spend an awful lot of time on research.

I was so excited to see this on my f-list! There are a lot of revolutionary war or WWI/I historical fictions written for hetalia, but I think this might be the first one I've found solely dedicated to German unification; this kind of history is sadly overlooked for the more pop-culture-ish events.

I loved it! It was nicely done, and the facts, as far as I saw (and I'm a western civ student) were well checked! I could have even expected more antagonism between prussia and austria.

I agree, I've seen many German REunification fics as well. I kept looking for another fic like this to at least get someone else's take and was really frustrated when I couldn't find one D:
