Summary: Just a little deviation from the Nina/Alberta Green scene in 1x13 where Nina asks to go home and take a shower but really has been asked by Jack to check up on Teri and Kim!
A/N: Written a very very long time ago on a dare but I recently found this on my laptop and remembered the request in here for this pairing so I thought I might as well post it! It's too bad there's so little 24 f/f fic!

"Nina... my office now"
A quick look but she could only see the back of the owner of that stern voice that seemed to be able to read her - despite everything. A tiny flutter of nervousness, a wave of anticipation and... fear? Was she caught?
My office? Wasn't it Jack's office still? He had only been gone a couple of hours. Were they really planning to get rid of him like this?
Knowing Alberta Nina knew Jack’s job was in serious jeopardy.
She got up from her desk and followed Alberta up the stairs. She couldn’t help but look at her long legs. Nina knew Alberta loved that. People looking at her beautiful legs…
A quick flash of a memory and Nina almost blushed. This was not the time.
Or perhaps it was. She needed to keep things under control here and with Jack as special agent in charge her job was easier. She needed to find a way to manipulate Alberta.
Thinking back she only thought it appropriate - Alberta had used her once. Of course Alberta had been very open about it… Sleeping her way to the top was OK - as long as you never gave more than you got. When Nina had seen through her she had just turned the mirror around and showed her just how Nina had used her…
And what had been the harm? Two strong women on their way up the ranks. Well, now Alberta had outranked her and even though it had all been a calculated move to stay away from the top positions at CTU - where your every move was scrutinized - it still was annoying. She swallowed her anger and pride as she stepped in to the office. She wouldn’t let Alberta get the satisfaction of seeing it and she had turned around and waited for Nina.
“Close the door!”
Nina turned around with a tiny teasing smile and closed the door.
“So”, Alberta placed her arms across her chest. “What the hell is really going on here?”
Nina sighed.
“You tell me you want to go home and take a shower - and then admit you lie because Bauer asked you to go and baby-sit his wife and daughter? How am I supposed to let you keep working when you disobey every single order? What you and Almeida tried to pull earlier…”
“Look, Alberta… I’m sorry”, Nina started but she was cut off.
“You’re not sorry! I know you, Nina. Don’t forget that… You are only sorry you didn’t manage to fool me.”
Nina looked down. How could she best play this? Should she play the jealous and pissed off agent? Alberta clearly looked for a reason for Nina’s disobedience. Perhaps the most obvious reason was exactly what Alberta was expecting?
“I’m sorry”, Nina started again, “I’m sorry for letting my personal feelings getting in the way.” She looked up. “I’m sorry because seeing you waltz in here - giving orders - is upsetting me more than I should let it.”
Alberta watched her silently. She was trying to see if this was the truth and apparently she was pleased with the explanation because suddenly she smiled.
“So, you and Jack Bauer? For Christ’s sake Nina. He’s married - that’s just as bad as…” She smiled again. “Division doesn’t approve of either…”
Nina forced herself to smile. “I know…” She let there be a slight longing in her voice. Her eyes showed the same thing. I know and it’s not as good as...
Nina suddenly noticed that Alberta had closed the blinds, probably as soon as she had come upstairs, and she realized there was an easy way to get some control back.
“I made a mistake…” she said and looked into Alberta’s eyes.
“Oh yeah”, Alberta asked sarcastically but Nina saw she was interested in knowing the exact nature of Nina’s mistake.
“Jack Bauer isn’t worth the risk” Nina whispered in a voice she hoped conveyed enough to satisfy Alberta.
“They never are…” Alberta smiled back and took a step closer.
Nina smiled. Alberta hadn’t changed. She was still a predator with the predator’s single vision and that made her easy to outsmart - for an even more cunning predator.
She had pretended to be the weaker part for so long. It was boring. With Alberta it had been easier. So Nina took a step closer too.
The day had been long - endless… and now everything seemed to work out. If she only was able to keep track of Jack’s wife and daughter then her job would be done. She only needed to be sure of where they were going and how long they would be there. And if she needed to play Alberta to get what she needed? Nina smiled. As she recalled it Alberta was very good at making stress go away…
Nina closed the gap between them and with her mouth close to Alberta’s she whispered: “What’s worth the risk then?”
Alberta’s smile widened. “What are you trying to do, Nina? Come on…”
Nina smiled. “I still need to get out of these clothes.”
She undid the two remaining buttons on her top while Alberta watched, her tongue darting out tracing her bottom lip. Nina leaned forward and let her own tongue follow the same path and when Alberta opened her mouth Nina’s tongue slid inside. Nina felt Alberta grabbing her shoulders and pulling her close.
The kiss was deep and held a lot of memories. When they came up for air they both remembered the last time they had spent together kissing.
Alberta grabbed Nina’s chin, her thumb rubbing over Nina’s bottom lip. “What do you want, Nina?”
Nina grinned playfully. “I want that shower… I’m really dirty…”
Alberta let her other hand slide around Nina and grabbed her ass.
“I remember” she whispered “I remember just how dirty you can be.”
The touch was arousing and Nina wrapped her arms around Alberta’s waist.
“Just one thing… let me get this straight… You’d fuck me - and Almeida - to save Bauer?”
Nina froze.
“Yeah, Nina… I know all about you and your assistant in charge… You really must be…”
Nina cut her off with a hard kiss. Her hands moved around to Alberta’s jacket and undid the only button and peeled it off her shoulders.
Alberta started laughing in her mouth but didn’t stop her. Instead her hands snaked under Nina’s shirt and up to the clasp of her bra. She undid it and moved her hands to Nina’s breasts, pushing the bra up to find her nipples.
Nina moaned when her fingers pinched her nipples and wrapped her arms around Alberta’s neck pulling her back with her against the desk.
Nina suddenly became very aware of where she was. In his office. On his desk… and she remembered very well what they had been doing in here before.
She also remembered the cameras and pushed Alberta off her looking up to the camera close to the door.
Alberta smiled and grabbed her again. “I already turned it off. I don’t like being watched…”
Nina stole a quick glance at her watch. There was still time. Perhaps she would be able to keep track of Teri and Kim’s whereabouts without actually being there? She just had to make sure she still had clearance for it.
Nina smiled and let her hands slide up Alberta’s legs.
Business and pleasure… Guess she was used to mixing the two by now.
