Thank you for this rec; I read this awhile back but didn't bookmark it, and parts of it have been haunting me (John rescuing Greg, Mary) so it was wonderful to be able to read it again. Of course, hyacinth_sky747 is just the most marvelous writer and now I shall re-read all of their works...

I've done the same thing- loved a fic, but not bookmarked it- and it's so frustrating! That's one of the awesome things about this comm, being reminded of stories like this. I'm so glad to know someone else loves it too! This author is fantastic. I could rec everything by them.
