I am having One Of Those Days where I cannot make my brain form coherent sentences that I may put into the paper that is imminently due, and I'm really quite scared that if I graduate it will be with a terrible mark, and I won't be allowed to rectify that by doing an honours degree, and even if I do, my qualifications will not actually get me hired ( Read more... )

Reward is tad creepy! Mostly because of SPIKES ON KNEES. Why does this thing have spikes on knees. Or are they spurs, rooster style? (Nice face & body proportions, btw).

I am trying to send you successful study vibes, powered by STUDY TEA.

There are really very few practical places you can put spikes on a human - I mean, shoulders maybe, but there's nowhere for them to grow out of and it might make lifting your arms quite difficult. As it is, she's probably accidentally stabbed herself multiple times.

I think your successful study vibes must have worked, because I talked to my lecturer after the tut and she gave me a further extension to Monday. \o/ I like my lecturer! She's always frazzled by Friday afternoon, and is happy to confess to us all that immediately afterwards, she will go home, drink a bottle of wine and pass out.

...I think the Linguistics lecturers could sympathise, given that they gather all the graduates together for a seminar at 4pm on Fridays, and put several bottles of wine by the door of the lecture theatre... Doesn't really help when the seminar is about Neo-Gricean Pragmatics.

Glad it worked. Hang out with us in the library this weekend!
