Pretty pretty new house is completely temporary. We're moving back into tiny sunless cinderblock mould-hole in a week and a half. And I only know this because Sas insisted I ask just to make sure before paying to have the internet reinstalled

Did they FIX the previous house? Because that would almost make sense EXCEPT FOR THAT PART WHERE THEY DIDN'T TELL YOU IT WAS TEMPORARY.

Oh, apparently all the asbestos will be gone by then, so it'll be safe and all. It's just that, apparently, they promised the house to someone who asked specially. *facepalm* It was just the utterly casual way she said it, like it was perfectly reasonable I should be finding this out now.

Is there any way to contest this? Because seriously - asking 'special' and the house just being EMPTIED on a WHIM is utterly INSANE.

At the very least, it's time to hit the university up for moving fees, because just dropping the 70 is not enough. Now you've two moves in a week's time, and they're being douchebags.

It's more like two weeks in a fortnight, since we don't have to go until the 22nd, but yeah, I'm a bit pissed off about this. *tears hair*
