well, yes. :) I got a degree in television and video production and I now work for the local cable company scheduling commercials and television programs for one of the clients. I also do some minor quality checking on some of the programming, so I get to use my knowledge every day.

Serious books? She's come undone by Wally Lamb or I Know This Much is True by the same guy. I've heard White Oleander is also very very good.

Want a funny book? Try Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchet. Laughed my ass off.

I work as a mental health proffessional ... similar to a social work position and I was a psych/soc. major ...so yea i use my info everyday.

I just got done reading Riding in Cars with Boys ... it was a pretty good book ... I'm betting that the movie will be good too =)

As for books I just finished reading Out of the girls room and into the night by thisbe nissen. Its a book of short stories...pretty good.

And know i'm reading The Last Unicorn...by Peter S. Beagle. I loved the movie when i was younger so i thought i'd read the book know.
