3.) I've been through at least 7 different majors and am currently on a leave-of-absence from college because it was becoming a complete waste of my parents' money. I'm making a big change in my life [moving across the country] in the coming months, and I'm hoping something will hit me!

1) does anyone remember that pepsi commrical that was on around 1989-91, I remembr watching it in Jr high, on CHannel one everyday. The Pepsi Summer Chill out, and they had this funky hand motion that they did while singing the song????

yes! i remember...in fact, i still reference it all the time, but i don't think that anyone gets it. I just picture...uh, hammer? sitting in a beach chair doing it. the slogan was "have fun, be young, drink pepsi"

i'm a coke girl, though.

I don't think anybody know what they want to do buddhahoo420 April 18 2002, 07:56:58 UTC
A lot of people might say they know what they want and some probably even believe this, but in reality I have found that what I want changes. Personally, I don't believer that there is a solid answer to the purpose of your life, it is individual and ever changing. Try and do what will leave you many options in the future, because who knows who you will be then and what you want. Things you enjoy are also very important. Good luck!

3) I really know how you feel. When I first started college my major was respiratory therapy. That was only because my mom picked it out. When she died less than a year later, I quit! I didn't have any kind of motivation. Like you, I will be returning to college in the fall. Also like you, I have no clue what I want to be. Of course there are plenty of things I'll like to do. My hang up is that I don't want to go to college for 2-4 yrs and then end up not happy with what I chose!
