Ooh, those yarns are beautiful! I love Fiesta Baby Boom; I'm not a sock knitter at all, but I made a really fun lace shawl out of that stuff.

This may be a weird question, but what is the yarn in your icon? I've been looking forever for a yarn that incorporated brown, teal, and pink, and that one is beautiful.

I've not yet worked with any of these sock yarns, so I'm excited I was able to get them all for so cheap.

It's Lion Brand Landscapes in Spring Desert. For some reason, their site doesn't say, but it's 50% wool, 50% acrylic, super bulky, very loosely spun and feltable.

Yeah, the pickin's were slim when I went anyway. For example, I wouldn't have chosen the pastels colorway of ShiBui if there'd been other options. But it's pretty anyway.

So you say you want to knit socks, eh?
:P

I wish I couldlive with myself if I went that wild. :P

I want to pet your yarns. I just ordered some of the Araunacia in the multi from The Loopy Ewe. I can't WAIT. :D

Indeed, I am a sockoholic. I admit it.

I would've felt guilty too had I not gotten the yarn for half off and the books for at least half off.

I haven't knit with the Araunacia yet, but it is lovely to pet.

I'm absolutely salivating. Books AND yarn. Probably my two favorite things to buy. *teh sex*

My favorite too. Books and yarn just go together. Like milk and cookies.
